This artwork by Joost Baljeu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. In the 19th Century & Modern Art auction, the work Paris V sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joost Baljeu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joost Baljeu erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Paris V für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joost Baljeu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
