Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Andromeda by Jonathan Yeo. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,706.35). Admittedly, works by Jonathan Yeo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Claire's Room (Grayson Perry) in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 145,083.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Andromeda von Jonathan Yeo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.706,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Yeo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Claire's Room (Grayson Perry) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 145.083,72).
