Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cliff & Mary by Jonathan Yeo was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,832.95). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Yeo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Claire's Room (Grayson Perry) in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 145,083.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cliff & Mary von Jonathan Yeo wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.832,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Yeo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Claire's Room (Grayson Perry) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 145.083,72).
