Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Four Works: Untitled by Jon Pylypchuk for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,944.62). This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jon Pylypchuk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,390.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Four Works: Untitled von Jon Pylypchuk für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.944,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Pylypchuk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (I Will Be Gentle With You/If You Are Kind I Will Love You) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.390,09).
