The work Egg by John Stezaker was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,349.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Stezaker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kiss I in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,347.94).

Die Arbeit Egg von John Stezaker kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.349,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Stezaker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kiss I im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.347,94).
