Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Ali Fist, Chicago by John Stewart. The price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,592.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by John Stewart have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago was auctioned for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,121.91).

Im Mai 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ali Fist, Chicago von John Stewart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.592,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von John Stewart konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2017 die Arbeit Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.121,91) versteigert.
