A top price for John Stewart
In November 2017 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago by John Stewart. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,121.91). With this result, Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago is even the most expensive work of art by John Stewart that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago von John Stewart zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.121,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Muhammad Ali, "Fist & Arm", Chicago sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Stewart, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
