In the Eclectic | New York auction, the work Landscape in the North of Israel sold for USD 1,386.00 (€ 1,174.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Rogers Herbert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Our Saviour subject to his Parents at Nazareth in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 38,240.00 (€ 55,829.19).
