Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Boy Daniel Condemning The False Elder by John Rogers Herbert was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,204.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Rogers Herbert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Our Saviour subject to his Parents at Nazareth in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 38,240.00 (€ 55,829.19).
