Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH & VICTORIAN PICTURES, which included the work David, The Future King Of Israel, While A Shepherd, At Bethlehem. 'Thus Will I Bless Thee' by John Rogers Herbert. The price achieved of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,735.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00.
