Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian Rainbow In A Sheepfield by John Perceval was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 42,000.00 (€ 25,610.64). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Perceval achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Ship'S Graveyard in November 2007 with an auction result of AUD 468,000.00 (€ 281,921.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Australian Rainbow In A Sheepfield von John Perceval kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 42.000,00 (€ 25.610,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Perceval erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Ship'S Graveyard im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 468.000,00 (€ 281.921,57).
