Here, the upper estimate of AUD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 45,600.00 (€ 23,514.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Perceval achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Ship'S Graveyard in November 2007 with an auction result of AUD 468,000.00 (€ 281,921.57).
