Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work echoes mingling gleaming by John McAllister was auctioned at Phillips in London in April last year. It achieved a price of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,766.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John McAllister - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Days Gently Embered, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,507.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.766,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von John McAllister mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Days Gently Embered beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.507,45) versteigert wurde.
