The work Every Time We Say Goodbye by John Keane was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in February 2007. The price achieved of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,226.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Every Time We Say Goodbye is the most expensive artwork by John Keane that we have observed at auctions so far.
