Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kneel by John Keane was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,691.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by John Keane have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2007 the work Every Time We Say Goodbye was auctioned for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,226.35).
