Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by John Graham was sold in the The Collection of Paul F. Walter auction at Christies in New York in September 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,512.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman with Dodecahedron in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,609,000.00 (€ 1,095,452.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von John Graham wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion The Collection of Paul F. Walter bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 27.512,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman with Dodecahedron im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.609.000,00 (€ 1.095.452,07).
