It achieved a price of GBP 262.90 (€ 393.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Field - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Admiral Viscount Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), which sold at auction in October 2005 for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,150.26).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 262,90 (€ 393,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von John Field mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Admiral Viscount Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für GBP 780,00 (€ 1.150,26) versteigert wurde.
