In the Christopher Wood A Very Victorian Eye auction, the work Studies of hands, legs and drapery changed hands for GBP 216.00 (€ 320.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Dawson Watson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fireside Thoughts in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,066.40).
