It achieved a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,648.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Admittedly, works by John Dawson Watson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fireside Thoughts in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,066.40).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.648,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Dawson Watson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fireside Thoughts im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.066,40).
