The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,395.15), 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by John Cyril Harrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ptarmigan in mid plumage in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.395,15) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Cyril Harrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ptarmigan in mid plumage im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.335,36).
