A top price for John Cyril Harrison - as previously expected
The work Ptarmigan in mid plumage by John Cyril Harrison was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ptarmigan in mid plumage is the most expensive artwork by John Cyril Harrison that we have observed at auctions so far.
