Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pheasants Under Beech Trees by John Cyril Harrison was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,046.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by John Cyril Harrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ptarmigan in mid plumage in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,335.36).

Die Arbeit Pheasants Under Beech Trees von John Cyril Harrison kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.046,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Cyril Harrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ptarmigan in mid plumage im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.335,36).
