It achieved a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,344.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Brett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pearly Summer in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 144,150.00 (€ 210,454.45).
