Other works by John Bentham-Dinsdale have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,521.70) in March 2017 for the work H.M.S. Crescent, under the command of Captain James Saumarez, capturing the French frigate Réunion off Cherbourg, 20 October 1793.
