Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work The Grand National, 1904, Beecher's brook; Valentine's brook; Two fences before the water; and The water jump by John Beer for GBP 2,270.50 (€ 3,379.18). This price was achieved in the auction Sporting Art and Dogs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Beer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Miss Dollar Wins, Royal Handicap, Sandown Park; Freemason Wins, Sandown Park; Leaving the Paddock, Sandown Park; Parade, Sandown Park, which sold at auction in May 2000 for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,369.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Grand National, 1904, Beecher's brook; Valentine's brook; Two fences before the water; and The water jump von John Beer für GBP 2.270,50 (€ 3.379,18) erwerben.
