Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Cambridgeshire Stakes, 1900. "Berrill wins!" by John Beer was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,625.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by John Beer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Miss Dollar Wins, Royal Handicap, Sandown Park; Freemason Wins, Sandown Park; Leaving the Paddock, Sandown Park; Parade, Sandown Park in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,369.93).

Die Arbeit The Cambridgeshire Stakes, 1900. "Berrill wins!" von John Beer kam im Juli 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.625,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
