In the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work The Grand National 1905, Over The Water; And Beecher'S Brook changed hands for GBP 382.40 (€ 550.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Beer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Miss Dollar Wins, Royal Handicap, Sandown Park; Freemason Wins, Sandown Park; Leaving the Paddock, Sandown Park; Parade, Sandown Park in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,369.93).
