The work Group Of Figures by John Armstrong was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in October last year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,137.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Armstrong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Initial Study For The Poster 'Can Spring Be Far Behind' in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 90,683.74).

Die Arbeit Group Of Figures von John Armstrong wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.137,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Armstrong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Initial Study For The Poster 'Can Spring Be Far Behind' im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 90.683,74).
