Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work View of a port with oriental figures and an elegant lady with her page shading her with a parasol by Johannes Lingelbach was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,285.03). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Lingelbach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peasants Dancing The Tarantella Outside An Inn In A Hilly Italianate Landscape in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,470.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit View of a port with oriental figures and an elegant lady with her page shading her with a parasol von Johannes Lingelbach im Juli 2013 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
