Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve, which included the work A hawking party setting out from a country house by Johannes Lingelbach. The price achieved of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,340.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johannes Lingelbach - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peasants Dancing The Tarantella Outside An Inn In A Hilly Italianate Landscape, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,470.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Remastered: Old Masters from the Collection of J.E. Safra - Selling Without Reserve durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hawking party setting out from a country house von Johannes Lingelbach zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.340,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Johannes Lingelbach mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peasants Dancing The Tarantella Outside An Inn In A Hilly Italianate Landscape beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 116.470,61) versteigert wurde.
