Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Johanna Karlsson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Scen XVIII" changed hands for SEK 19,000.00 (€ 1,679.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johanna Karlsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Utan titel", which sold at auction in November 2014 for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,929.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johanna Karlsson konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Scen XVIII" für SEK 19.000,00 (€ 1.679,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Johanna Karlsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Utan titel" beobachtet, die im November 2014 für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.929,81) versteigert wurde.
