In April 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain et Collection Marie-Christine et Roger Pailhas, which included the work Lavabo Vert Bouteille, Série 'Lille', 1994 by Joep van Lieshout. The result of EUR 600.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joep van Lieshout achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bureau 'K4121', 1991 in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 10,200.00.
