Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Demeter by Joe Tilson was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 701.25 (€ 836.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Tilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 236,464.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Demeter von Joe Tilson wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 701,25 (€ 836,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Tilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 236.464,29).
