Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Crete Senesi, Sasso (Unframed) by Joe Tilson was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,740.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Tilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 236,464.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Crete Senesi, Sasso (Unframed) von Joe Tilson kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.740,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Tilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 236.464,29).
