Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Joe Tilson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Le Crete Senesi, Asciano (Unframed) sold for GBP 3,060.00 (€ 3,481.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Tilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secret in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 236,464.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joe Tilson erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Le Crete Senesi, Asciano (Unframed) für GBP 3.060,00 (€ 3.481,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Tilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secret im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 236.464,29).
