In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Evening Star sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,122.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cornfield in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 89,372.37).

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Evening Star für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.122,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cornfield im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 89.372,37).
