A top price for Jockum Nordström - as previously expected
The work "The Four Cardinal Points" by Jockum Nordström was sold in the Contemporary, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 2,250,000.00 (€ 252,517.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "The Four Cardinal Points" is the most expensive artwork by Jockum Nordström that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit "The Four Cardinal Points" von Jockum Nordström wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 2.250.000,00 (€ 252.517,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "The Four Cardinal Points" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jockum Nordström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
