Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'The Band Stand' by Jockum Nordström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 250,000.00 – 300,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 230,000.00 (€ 19,478.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jockum Nordström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "The Four Cardinal Points" in November 2013 with an auction result of SEK 2,250,000.00 (€ 252,517.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'The Band Stand' von Jockum Nordström im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 250.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 230.000,00 (€ 19.478,61) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jockum Nordström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "The Four Cardinal Points" im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.250.000,00 (€ 252.517,27).
