The work The Fountain Of Apollo, Madrid by Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida was sold in the European Art: Paintings & Sculpture auction at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,039.80), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish pescadores Valencianos (Valencian Fishermen) in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,603,912.82).

Die Arbeit The Fountain Of Apollo, Madrid von Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion European Art: Paintings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
