Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam, which included the work Zweifigurengruppe B by Joannis Avramidis. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 112,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Joannis Avramidis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2019 the work Figur II was auctioned for EUR 142,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zweifigurengruppe B von Joannis Avramidis zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 112.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Joannis Avramidis konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2019 die Arbeit Figur II für EUR 142.600,00 versteigert.
