This artwork by Joannis Avramidis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Avra 32 Round Figures, 1962 sold for USD 119,062.50 (€ 102,844.00) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Joannis Avramidis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figur II sold at auction in June 2019 with the realized price of EUR 142,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joannis Avramidis erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California wurde die Arbeit Avra 32 Round Figures, 1962 für USD 119.062,50 (€ 102.844,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Joannis Avramidis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figur II im Juni 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 142.600,00.
