It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,508.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).

Die Arbeit Plate 2 from: Càntic del Sol von Joan Miró kam im September 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.508,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
