A top price for Joan Miró
The work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) by Joan Miró was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. With this result, Peinture (Étoile Bleue) is even the most expensive work of art by Joan Miró that we have observed at auctions so far.
