Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script by Jin Cheng. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 36,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,416.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,840,000.00 (€ 743,975.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script von Jin Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 36.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.416,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.840.000,00 (€ 743.975,28).
