Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Pavilion in the Wildness / Calligraphy in Running Script by Jin Cheng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,747.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,840,000.00 (€ 743,975.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pavilion in the Wildness / Calligraphy in Running Script von Jin Cheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.747,79) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.840.000,00 (€ 743.975,28).
