Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jin Cheng could be acquired at POLY in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III auction, the work Scholar Admiring Scenery changed hands for HKD 6,600.00 (€ 774.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jin Cheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,840,000.00 (€ 743,975.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jin Cheng konnte im November diesen Jahres bei POLY für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III wechselte die Arbeit Scholar Admiring Scenery für HKD 6.600,00 (€ 774,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jin Cheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Scenery Of Jiangnan im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.840.000,00 (€ 743.975,28).
