Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bhangra Remix by Jim Lambie was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. It achieved a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 5,986.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jim Lambie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Careless Whisper in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 203,117.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bhangra Remix von Jim Lambie kam im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 5.986,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jim Lambie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Careless Whisper im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 175.000,00 (€ 203.117,21).
