Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2010 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Relaxation by Jiang Shuo. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,087.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Shuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Going Forward in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 152,093.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Relaxation von Jiang Shuo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.087,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Shuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Going Forward im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 152.093,17).
