This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Going Forward the most expensive artwork by Jiang Shuo that we have observed at auctions so far.
