Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Going Forward, Abundant - A Pair by Jiang Shuo was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85). Admittedly, works by Jiang Shuo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Going Forward in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 152,093.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Going Forward, Abundant - A Pair von Jiang Shuo wurde im März 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.002,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jiang Shuo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Going Forward im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 152.093,17).
